Biography

Mark is a founding partner of Murrah & Killough and a trusted advisor in business law. With a focus on serving the legal and business needs of companies, Mark has earned a reputation as a sound counselor and a voice of reason in the complex world of business regulation. He takes pride in representing companies that contribute to the industrial strength of the United States and believes in the pursuit of individual visions of success.

Throughout his career, Mark has shouldered the responsibility for a wide range of legal and business issues, including contracting, employment, human resources, mergers, and acquisitions. His dedication to his clients’ growth and prosperity is evident in his zealous advocacy for their interests.

A native Texan, Mark is deeply involved in the Houston legal and business communities. He is an active member of the Houston Bar Association and the State Bar of Texas, frequently speaking to legal and business groups.

Outside of his professional life, Mark is passionate about his family and community involvement. He is a devoted father to his son Jack and a supportive husband to his wife, who serves as the Director of Risk Management for Texas Children’s Hospital. Mark is committed to being a positive influence in the lives of children beyond his own family, speaking at schools, and serving on various children’s charities.

Mark’s approach to law and life is guided by a belief in integrity, diligence, and educating clients and the public regarding the law.
